The competition was held at Fordell Firs and organised by Bob Broderick and some of his Active Support team. Many thanks for that guys.
Breakdown of the markings, to allow troops to see where their strenghts and weaknesses were, are as follows:

The above scores were averaged at the end due to different team numbers in order to give a fairer score and the results presented on the night. The winning team was the
48th Donibristle,
2nd was 68th and
3rd place awarded to the 13th.
All teams were very close. Overall the skills were very even and the the emphasis on Map & Compass, Knots, General Scouting Knowledge and Uniform seem to be the areas for a bit of development across the District.
Well done to all who attended and prepared, the Woolmer is a great 'snapshot' of the great work that is going on around. BRAVO!
Uniform: Examples of point deductions were, Badges missing, badges upside down, patrols not being 'uniform' in the way of presentation i.e sleeves rolled up and down, neckers wrong way round, trainers and shoes mix.
Compass: Good Standard, perhaps some work on grid references, otherwise good.
Knots: Highlight the uses of certain knots as well as how to tie them.
Please use the above as a general guide, looking forward to Totem competition and beyond.
Looking good though. Well done!
